P1

Rank what matters

Every active task gets a clear priority. Drag its P badge onto another task and the whole list settles into its new order.

⌘

Built for prompts

Keep multiline instructions beneath the task title, edit them inline, and copy the full description with one click.

#

Tags, not folders

Give related work a lightweight thread with reusable tags—no nested boards, admin rituals, or filing cabinet required.

🔔

Reminders with real dates

Choose a date and time, see clear Today and Tomorrow labels, and get a compact reminder card that names the task.

⚡

Still one keystroke

Press ⌃⌥T from anywhere. The capture field is already focused, and stays ready after Return so thoughts become tasks fast.

Private by default

Work offline with tasks stored on your Mac. Sign in only if you want the same list synced across every Mac you own.

Quick answers

Is TodoBar free?

Yes — download it and start adding tasks. No account, no trial timer, no upsell screens.

Does it work offline?

Completely. Your tasks live on your Mac by default. Signing in is only needed if you want your list synced across Macs.

Which macOS versions are supported?

TodoBar requires macOS 26 or later and runs natively on Apple Silicon and Intel.

How do I open it?

Press ⌃⌥T from anywhere, or click the pinwheel in your menu bar. The input field is already focused when it opens.

How do priorities work?

Every active task has a visible rank — P1 is the task that matters most. Drag a priority badge onto another task to reorder the list, and TodoBar remembers the new order.

Is the download safe to open?

Yes. The current universal Mac build is signed with a Developer ID, notarized by Apple, and works natively on Apple Silicon and Intel.

Small app. Clear head.

Put the next task—and the context you need to finish it—one keystroke away.
